Important things to know before your visit:

• You are allowed to bring your own food and drinks to Keukenhof. Please note that you are not permitted to bring your own food and drinks to the restaurants and terraces at Keukenhof. However, we do have a lovely picnic area and plenty of benches where you can enjoy your packed lunch among the tulips.
• Keukenhof is a walking park, and cycling is not permitted. You can, however, explore the beautiful Keukenhof area by bike. Bikes can be rented from Rent-a-bike in parking lot P1.
• It’s not permitted to walk through the flower bulb fields, as this damages the bulbs. The fields are the bulb growers’ own property. Taking photos from the road is permitted.
• Free lockers are available for smaller items. Larger items can be left free of charge at the left luggage office near the main entrance.

• Coaches leave and depart all day from 08:00. The last coach leaves Keukenhof at 18.30

• It is a direct route without stops with flexible return time
• The meeting point in Amsterdam is Overhoeksplein 51. You can get there by catching the Buiksloterweg ferry (it’s free!) from the water-side of Amsterdam Central Station

Important things to know before your visit

• Tulip Experience Amsterdam is open in the spring, in 2026 from March 19th to May 10th, daily from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• A visit lasts on average 60 – 90 minutes.
• Best time to visit: Tulips bloom in phases, so there’s always something in bloom. Visit before 11 AM or after 4 PM for fewer crowds and best photo light.
• The use of drones is not permitted at Tulip Experience Amsterdam, due to safety measures and the safety of our visitors.
• Parking is free and only available during your visit, with a maximum of two hours.
• Tulip Garden is accessible for visitors with disabilities; our Experience is on one level and wheelchair-friendly. There is a disabled-friendly toilet and ample parking near the entrance. Our show garden is partially wheelchair-accessible.
• We have spacious sanitary facilities, including a baby changing room and a disabled toilet.
• Free WiFi is available throughout the Tulip Experience.
• Wheelchairs available for rent for €5 per wheelchair. You can rent these on-site at our ticket/information desk.

How to get there

• Public transport: If you’re traveling by public transport, the best option is to travel to Hillegom train station. From there, take bus 22 towards Leiden and get off at the Ruigenhoek stop. From Ruigenhoek, it’s a 10-minute walk to the Tulip Experience Amsterdam.
• Bicycle: Tulip Experience Amsterdam is centrally located along the most popular cycling routes in the Bollenstreek region. You can safely reach us by bike via a dedicated cycle path next to Delfweg.
• Taxi: If you wish to visit us by taxi from Schiphol, Hillegom station or Keukenhof, for example, we recommend that you book a taxi in advance with one of the local taxi companies, such as Taxi Brouwer , Taxi de Bob , Taxi de Tulp or Taxi Bollenstreek.
• Auto: Tulip Experience Amsterdam is located in Noordwijkerhout and is easily accessible from cities like Amsterdam, Haarlem, and Leiden. We are easily accessible by car and are located near the Lisse/Delfweg exit of the N206.
